Indeed, resogun is nothing more than a game that most played for a couple of hours and give up on it, if they didn't it is because they want to get the platinum trophy and then not touch it anymore...and that game then always get mentioned in discussions like this...

Just curious. Do you think that reviewers who praised the game only played it for a few hours and then gave up on it?

Can't answer this honestly, how should I know? Would not be surprised if some of them did. 
Resogun only get mentioned so much because it is an exclusive game with a high metacric score.
Go on PSn right now and I bet almost all of the PS4 owners will be playing a game that is a port from PS3.
