Is getting both a PS4 and Xbox One worth it?

Reasons to Skip the XBox One

1) Microsoft usually releases its exclusives on the PC anyways, so if you have a PC you can probably get away with skipping the Xbox.

2) With the Xbox in second place people are thinking that they aren't gonna be buying up exclusives all over the place like they have been. So even though it has all the third party exclusives right now, it may die down quite a bit in a year or so.

3) Price cut sounds inevitable if they keep losing out in sales.

Reasons to skip the PS4

1) No games. The highest rated game for the PS4 was something like an 80 on metacritic? Don't know if they've released something better but it's slim pickings over there.

2) Third parties like Microsoft better. They made the best versions of their games on the 360 and not the PS3 last gen because that's where their sales were. Of course things are looking very different this gen, but historically....

In short, the best answer is to buy a Wii U and a 3DS and wait for the other two to reveal their hands.
