For a lot of people (like me), we've been following Media Create for 2 or so years and have seen Vita do numbers ranging from terrible to abysmal to basket case™ so seeing it keep a relatively stable level like this which is well above 10k is "good".
Yes, in the grand scheme of things it probably isn't, but in the grand scheme of things the Japanese hardware market is in such dire straits that it probably is kinda good.
