Britain or Spain did much more damage in previous eras, and no one tries to hide those things from the public. Germans are oversensitive with these things.

They don't try to cover the past, they try to make it difficult to be glorified.

Even if the depiction of the symbols are to be mocked and not glorified? It's South Park what we're talking about here.
