End of 2007 vs end of 2013 which gives DS an extra 3-4 months compared to 3DS (DS-Nov/Dec 2004, 3DS-Feb/Mar 2011) so thats why launches aligned shows a difference.

Ah thanks, I see. But that gives the DS an extra holiday season does it not (not that the 3DS would make up a 20m difference anyway) ?
