How do people come up with these? easily, the historical data. Wii U is performing 2/3 of the GC at the same time period. What is 2/3 of 22? ~15m if trend continues. Now suppose trend doesnt continue and somehow Nintendo starts selling better. Well, making up lost ground over a year and a half after launch is too late. That means wii U needs to outsell the GC by 33% from here on out to even match the GC sales. (even if the Wii U sold 33% better it still wouldbt catch up to GC after two more years.) Its unlikly that it goes from .66 of GC sales to 1.33 of GC sales. |
