But in all fairness, I cant think of any mascot from Sony or M$ that has his/her name assoiated with over 10 titles in on year alone.
Master Chief ? Nathan ?, nope. No one gets whored out more than mario. And then you guys wonder why his (NEW) game dosen't sell well. Having itterations of games released every few years is not too much of a bad thing, but when you totally rely on the SAME 1,2,3,4, punch on your console roster, that when it becomes a problem.
When was the last console that Nintendo has not relied on Mario, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Metroid ?
Its always the same cycle.
Aside from 3rd party support, there are always 2 maybe 3 new ip per console cycle. thats totally unacceptable.
The Playstation consoles get over 3 new ip's per year.
But like I said before. Its YOUR own fault that Nintendo does not invest in new ip's................ You guys/gals dont demand it. Instead, all you look forward to is the next Mario game, on the NEW Nintendo console.
