Actually; Seymour is a villain in FFX, he's a real baddy that one!
That description of an antagonsit does sound rather outstamped tbh... I'm kinda expecting every character in these games to resemble previous FF characters, the last 4-5 games has had a group of characters seemingly picked from the exact same genepool.
And all the characters have such clear defined roles and kinda 2-dimensional personalities, these are things I really loathe in the FF series.
It is getting slightly better though, and I actually thought FFXII was a step up from the previous two istallments!
