I can only partially agree with ur reasoning. Yes, Nintendo should expand and acquire new studios, but they shouldn't get Capcom as the first one; they need to get more western games to appease that audience. And they should definitely get more cartoons/movies out there!! Y u not do that Nintendo?!
And console gaming does not work in the same way as the phone market, so releasing new HW more often wouldn't work. And it's totally unnecessary for Nintendo to own their own shops on a WW or even a national retail chain.
