Angry post, so be forewarned:
No beta is simply another shaft. First, they take away DMC exclusivity (which I'm mad about not because of "it lets a wider audience play the game" but rather, because it only added fuel to the "PS3 has no (exclusive) games" fire) then they didn't want to make a PS3 version of Dead Rising, even though they saw how passionate many fans were through forum/blog posts, letters/emails to executives, etc. At first, nor did they have plans for Lost Planet, but they saw PS3 fan support waning, so they caved, or rather, they thought it would "appease" us after all the outcries. And it was a crappy port too (shows how much effort they but into "making our games available to the widest audience" They got that quantity part of that correct, but not quality. Then they canceled Monster Hunter 3. And now, the console that pushed the release date back for SFIIHDR, and gave them the most problems is getting the beta.
I don't want to call them "Crapcom", because they've treated me well as a gamer in the past. Made excellent games in Onimusha/DMC/etc., but in the present, they HAVE treated me, along with others, like crap, so "Crapcom" may be fitting
