It's funny. When I think back to when I was a kid, Nintendo commercials were EVERYWHERE. Cartoons, the back of comic books, magazines--they were all over the place.
Why? Because they were commercials made and paid for by third party games.
Now that Nintendo is alone in the world, they don't have that anymore. They have to pay for everything themselves. Unfortunately, Nintendo doesn't really like spending money.
Though I did see a Kong commercial during RAW. Unfortunately, it kind of sucked.
