Of course its us.. we demand the best graphics, best voiceactors and when the companies are falling down we say: "Its their own fault for having bloated budgets..." like we truly would buy a game with graphics like Deadly Premonition nowadays.. If the industry could become healthly the next 10 years with graphics of the quality of the first Gears of War we wouldn't accept that..
-edit- and WE don't buy enough AAA games for all of them to be profitable... I delayed buying games like AC4, Far Cry 3, Beyond Two Souls etc etc.. people like me ain't helping the industry who need games being bought at full price not at a discount
