I dunno, I've broken my ankle and I've gotten a pretty bad lye burn.
Breaking my ankle hurt like hell, but I put it on a footstool before going to the doctor, got it in a cast, and after that, no pain really. Before the cast, it was really just a general swelling feeling, as long as I didn't bump it, it wasn't so bad. Maybe the bone breaking wins simply because I had to wear the cast for so long though.
The burn though...it hurt SO bad, and it was a bitch to get the stuff off well enough. It was a very specific burn on the back of my wrist, and it hurt soo badly for the rest of the day. Then the dead skin kinda bubbled off, so that's a bucket of fun as well...I gotta stop messing with fire and chemicals hehe, hurray chemistry!
