Firstly it's unbelievably stupid to decide not to buy a game before you've seen anything of it just based on its name, hell it hasn't even been announced.
Secondly the new IP was cancelled for a reason, it wasn't looking promising. It's nothing to do with GoW, anyone who's boycotting GoW4 just because it's still inevitably happening and a new IP got cancelled is moronic.
If GoW4 is being directed by Cory Barlog and is confirmed to not have multiplayer it's a day 1 buy. If not, depending on reviews, I'll probably hold off and buy it at a bargain bin price, wouldn't be close minded enough to straight up say I won't ever buy it.
