Retailers had almost a million on store shelves after the holidays. It's similar to the Wii U's first q.

It is true that I also don't believe TF will make the system sell gangbusters.

I figure over Jan - March XB1 will sell 600k~ (140k Jan, 180k Feb, 250k March), given everywhere else is 50% of US that's about 300k, which puts sell through on par with the initial shipment.

XB1 isn't selling as bad as WiiU did (early Jan Japan figures sku January overall to give the impression they are.) so Using that as a comparison is ... not ideal.

So you expect only 4.1 sold but 5 million shipped? That's, kinda crazy...

 

Also I know the Wii U was selling worse. However it had 800k on shelves at the end of 2012 and only shipped 400k for q1. XBONE is selling better but had 900k on shelves. Shipping 600k seems pretty realistic.


No it isn't, it's actually standard amount in the channel. That and uptick in March/Titanfall will allow MS to persuade retailers into taking more stock.
