The majority of 360 gamers were swing gamers who came from the PS2. Some of them are coming back (probably more). If you add the marketshare of the 360 and PS3 you get the PS2 era. Essemtially the only one who grew the overall marketshare for gaming last gen was Nintendo, but those gamers are more than likely not coming back unless a fad starts.
