Alright fine, be nitpicky about the exact wording. I mostly just said heads will roll for humorous effect. But I would be a little peeved. I wouldn't overreact that much, but come on, if Nintendo says they're exclusive to Ambassadors, they should be just that. Not like I'm gonna start a petition. If you think it's not a big deal, then why are you making such a big deal out of my caring a bit about it? Do you feel the need to defend Nintendo from me? Over a nonexistent, hypothetical, hyperbolic threat? Who do you think you are that you have to tell me how to feel, my therapist? No, if Nintendo did this, I wouldn't cry out to the heavens "Why hath thou forsaken me Nintendo!" I'd just be peeved. Seriously, if you had a friend that did this, would you argue with him for hours why he shouldn't be peeved, and be that upset that he dare not agree with you that it's nothing to be peeved about? Would you forever see him differently as some pathetic whiner because he made a passing complaint? You're overreacting on the internet. I really had no idea that my passing remark about Nintendo's promise that I made simply to illustrate that they have their own reasons why they release the games they do when they do, would turn into a massive flame war like this. I am sorry I said anything. Jesus Christ. Let it go people.

You were playing devil's advocate. Nothing wrong with that. I knew it would never affect your purchases, and it shouldn't.
The point is, Nintendo for whatever reason, does not put out games that people want. It's been a problem for the past 2 generations. They are so focussed on making the next big thing that they forget entirely about all the potential revenue they could be earning. That's like Nintendo in a nutshell. They have this backwards approach to it, much like 80s and 90s era Disney.
I'm not even sure what strategy is behind it...what, do they think that if they put all their games out, prices will go down, and they'll make a short term profit and long term failure? Because it's not like that at all. That's crazy. It's crazy that instead of having games on there that people do want, they put out the ones people don't want. That is absolute nonsense.
PS: I'm not saying Nintendo only has bad games. They have a lot of great games. Unfortunately, they've made sure that before you have access to all the great ones, you have to sort through all the rubbish. It's like they know metroid 1 won't sell, but they'll put it on vc before fusion because, you know what, what choice do you have?
