Love the reactions here. People dont get hired immediatly after being let go unless they were looking for a job prior to being let go. There is a whole interview processes ya know. I actually doubt anyones been interviewed for any positions (probably havent even had a chance to send in a resume yet). Spence is just being proactive inrecruoting and thats it. This doesnt even confirm they would end up hiring any of those people.
as for the comments about sony trying to save money, lol. rral laugjable. If a crew isnt getting work done then sometimes you need to clear house. Especially since the ps4 is taking off. Now would be the dumbest time to downsize and try to cut costs in the playstation division. 50 people? probably a vita game. If not then probably nowhere near even in the thick of development
