that is only 950k/month when they are producing 1.8mil/month

also, 180 weeks is 3.46 years...

1.8mil*12=21.6mil/year * 3.46 years = 74.74mil + 22.26 mil = 97mil, not the 70 u are predicting

your 70mil just makes no logical sense based on current production and historical/current wii sales trends

 

basically, if u want to have a discussion around what things could change the current trends in the future, u need to get the current trends accurate first...the current trend is for wii to sell everything they ship that year, so 21.6mil/year at current production rates...

if u'd rather discuss why wii won't continue to sell at that rate, then that's fine, but your post is about what things will change the CURRENT TRENDS and so you need to start with a baseline of the current trend, which is 97mil wiis in 180 weeks

so start at 97mil and then give your logic on why it will miss that mark by 27mil

u stated in your OP that the numbers were NOT your predictions, but rather projections...so be unbiased and use accurate projections...
