Not really. Games don't usually triple their first 2 months of sales, ACIV will top out at 200k. Did we ever get 101 shipments???

Ubi are making the right decision with Watchdogs. It's their next 8m+ selling franchise (that's what they're hoping for) they shouldn't be worrying about a sku that is gonna sell 50k - 200k.

Do you mean by releasing it later? That doesn't even make sense. Or is there a double standard for the X1 and PS4 with relation to this? They are probably going to sell similar numbers that you just posted.

I'll agree that many don't triple their first 2 months, although, some have and do.

What double standard? The PS4X1 versions will easily multiply whatever the WiiU version would sell by a factor of at least 5, probably over 10. Them focusing on the versions that will bring them more money isn't a double standard. It's business. Just be happy you're actually getting the port, because financially it makes little sense.

Okay. We have one instance of that so far with one game. I'm not sure we can spread that as a definite accross the board.

Are you being serious?

All the major games that have released on all platforms. Like AC and CoD. Publishers also had a whole another year to judge WiiU version sales of multiplaform sales and they weren't any hotter.

I am actually. For the most part Wii U's sales have been lower, in some cases much lower. There is another part of the equation that helps it make more sense though. There are a lot more options for purchases on the Wii U at this point in comparison. That also make sense as to why the numbers for the X1 and PS4 have been quite good for the likes of COD and AC4 in comparison to their older counterparts. This trend might continue, or it might not. Only time will tell. If The Order 1886 gets released at the same time as Watchdogs which would you go for? Or how about that or Watchdogs as there is only supposed to be roughly a month between these releases? The same can be said on the Wii U with some of Nintendo's franchises. It might come out at the same time as Smash or X or Bayonetta 2. That's all.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
