A few downtimes are ok. Sure, it sucks if you wanna play online at that exact moment, but most of the time, everything works fine. Witht the complexity of modern games and networks, it's just impossible to absolutely guarantee that a network or game is 100 % available all of the time.
Give those guys some space, they're doing a good job. I bet you aren't perfect either at what you do. Those people, always asking for perfection because they're paying 5 bucks a month... We're all just humans!
