Finally finished Toukiden campaign, clocked in about 34 hours total. I don't know how japan is doing it, I feel worn out on hunting games : 52 hours Soul Sacrifice, 85 hours God Eater 2 and 34 hours Toukiden.
I really like them all, but man do they drain my stamina.

They aren't worth playing if you aren't playing with friends.

Yes this is what I think about those Hunting games, GE has a storyline at least, what MH didn't have, don't know about the other two though.

Monster Hunter 3U has one actually.

It is as paper thin as it gets and boils down to "go hunt bad Lagiacrus because  earthquake " and later " ooops Lagiacrus no earthquake....go hunt other big animals !!1"

...but there is one :P

I still don't think that counts. Soul Sacrifice has a great story and very good writing, which is why I liked it so much more than other hunting games.

Toukiden has a plot, but it's closer to MH in the no story department.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."
