There's nothing wrong with having a difference of opinion with someone else. Like I said earlier, this is a forum, where people can come to express their views and opinions. And I'm glad that both sqrl and Sky Render expressed that they believed that Nintendo was stockpiling, because that is their opinion, and they are entitled to do so, but I do feel like I'm being treated unfairly because all I did was express my opinion. I haven't "lost my senses" Final-fan, merely expressed my opinion. I didn't put anyone down, throw any personal jabs, just my opinion. Obviously my opinion wasn't close to public opinion, but that's what keeps the forums interesting, differing opinions. I don't have anything against sqrl or Sky Render, and I hope that they don't have anything against me, but I simply left the thread, because our argument was going nowhere fast, and this is how I got banned before, having an argument with someone then refreshing the page to find out I was banned. No warning or anything to that extent, so I didn't continue arguing, because I felt like that would happen again. I hope that this clears everything up. |
Actually no it doesn't clear everything up. It doesn't explain why you felt the need to post the exact same thing three times in responce to SkyRender. You were being beligerant towards him and his views which clearly doesn't jive with your new position. It was only after realizing that several people disagreed with you and had facts to support their position that you then backed away and now claim sanctuary by saying "its just my opinion".
You quite clearly thought you were right. You thought it strongly enough that you didn't bother to give consideration to what SkyRender said and instead ignored him and re-stated what you had already said three times.
I realize that you saw the monthly sales below 1.8m and based your position that they were not producing 1.8m per month on that fact. But when we consider that the executives of Nintendo stake their freedom on the assertion that they are producing 1.8m units per month I feel inclined to believe them. But in addition if we are to examine things a bit we see that from Aug '07 through Feb '08 the mean sales for the Wii have been just shy of 1.7m units.
