MS' other businesses are way too strong for their stock ever to drop that low even if Elop mismanaged every division was in charge of into obliviion.

I think you missed the part where they would split off the division.

I don't see how the division would operate independantly without MS' cash reserves to push them along. Selling the division to Amazon or partnering with Nintendo I think is far more likely.

My scenario is supposed to be set up for failure. Then they end up being bought by someone. Like the Nokia situation now.
