This is the main issue, Nintendo really has botched much of the VC. Especially in the Wii U's case. They can't keep a trickle of releases, that takes forever. They must tie the 3DS and Wii U eShops/VC's so the Wii U will have all the games on the 3DS (eShop/VC, to be exact) while also releasing way more games monthly.
