Wow. How far up CDPR's ass is this writer?

Still I find it shocking how so many self proclaimed "game journalists" don't get the issue. They're always looking at it from an isolated perspective. They claim to be above the issue yet they are not better than the fanboys.

If they go shop for a toaster and they find 2 models for about the same price. One of which can make the toast in 30 seconds and the other in 60 seconds. If the price and quality of the toast is the same then every single customer who values his money would take the faster toaster. Not because 30 seconds matter that much but because the better value.

not the best example.  Your example fits more to the gameplay aspect.

The FPS/Resolution would be like the Toast coming out looking slightly different color or something.  Both taste the same, but one looks golden brown while one looks just brown.  Or to be more exact it would be one looks golden brown while the other looks one shade lighter golden brown.  If you hold the two peices next to each other you could maybe tell the difference.

No. Visual quality is an important part of the taste. So more like one tastes a bit better and the other one a bit bland.

Also the analogy was the toaster and not the toast. And the framerate/resolution was the toasting time. It's nothing major but everyone who had the choice would like his toast to be faster toasted.
