But I will say this. I fully expect people to overreact when PS4 outsells One even in Titanfalls release week in EU and US. People need to understand that Titanfalls impact will be felt over the next 4-6 months as the online community in the game builds, word of mouth. It is an online only game that should build and hold well, initially impact will not be as important as the long term.

Anyone expecting Titanfall to shift things immediately will be disappointed and those who will be quick to point to how it doesnt shift immediately will be disappointed long term based on the premise of the game, imo.

I undertsand what your saying but dont fully agree. Titanfall will have legs but the problem it faces is the next MW or COD or BF and definitly destiny will become the new hot game and titanfall will become old news. Microsoft has a small window until one of those games is the next must have.

Great points. But I think that they can coexist. titanfall can have 6 months at least to itself, if the devs offer unique and consistent experiences they can get a great foothold I think. BF4 badpress and server issues could hurt its next installment. New generation, new IP are both advantages of Titanfall, imo.

I dont personally love the genre but I know I am always looking for new options so i see the FPS crowd being no different. If Titanfall can deliver to the community I think haveing 6 months to build its base and retain the experience will be important for Titanfall 2, thinking of the bigger picture and long term.
