@Soundwave MJ laughing at you for thinking the PS4 will outsell the 3DS

Yes. WiiU will start selling again once MK8 comes out.

In the long term PS4 will outsell the 3DS. People need to actually look at what the 3DS is selling ... 13 million/year is its peak year ... that's decent but nothing close to the DS or even the GBA in its peak (18 mill/year). 3DS is getting hit hard by kids getting into smartphone/tablet gaming every day.

Sony will be moving 18-20 million PS4s/year soon enough, 3DS will fizzle out around 85 mill IMO, there's pretty much nothing that can stop Sony from hitting 100 mill IMO unless Microsoft starts dramatically money-hatting. Wii U is zero competetion for the PS4, Nintendo couldn't have made an easier system to compete against from Sony's POV if they tried.

Disagree, your claiming the PS4 will just sell with no other reasons but it will. PS4 could hit a wall like the XB1 or WiiU has. What makes you think the PS4 will continue to sell once all the hype over it has faded?

Dont forget the XB1 and WiiU have some major games coming out just like PS. They will steal from each other where as the Vita cannot steal from the 3DS. Mobiles and Tablets etc wont sink the 3DS sales not when 3DS still has Pokemon comeing out etc.

As long as there are American and European teenagers and males that like blowing things up on their game systems, Sony will have a very large, steady market.

Nintendo's chosen markets are much more unstable ... casuals are prone to chasing fads and getting bored of something after a few years (its just the nature of the audience). Kids may love Mario when they are 7 or 8 years old, but when they get to 12/13/14 years olds ... things change a lot and they may be all about Call of Duty or more violent video games.

Sony's just gotta keep hammering away at MS and keep leveraging their $100 price advantage. MS just can't seem to gain on Sony in Europe either which gives Sony a huge advantage.
