Sounds to me like an internet thing. When I lived in my old house I had crappy like 5 MBps AT&T internet that was HORRIBLE. It was constantly timing out when put under any strain. I tried to watch Netflix with my gf all the time and videos would pause every couple of minutes to buff and catch up... sometimes it would go smooth for like 10 minutes and right when you get sucked into the video BAM it needs to pause and buffer. Now in our new house, I changed to Comcast internet for cheaper and it is 60MBs download speeds although i usually test at around 50MBps speeds and downloading movies takes minutes, games not long either, I have never seen a youtube video or Netflix pause for buffering and I'm using the same PS3 for the same Netflix.
