The next installment of Super Smash Bros. is coming for both the 3DS and the Wii U in late 2014. No doubt this game will be a big seller, but the question is, which of the two versions will sell more throughout its life?
The 3DS has the advantage of the much larger install base.
The Wii U has the advantage of Smash always having been a home console game. Many players will want to experience this on the big screen, and in HD. Also, it seems that the Wii U version will provide a better experience for the game.
So what do you think will sell more? Also, please include your expected numbers for each version and a total. Keep in mind this is lifetime.

Total: 15M-24M
*Wii U sales depend on bundles.
Keep in mind many people will buy both versions.
