Okay update:
Started the demo download at 2am and it finished at 2:45am. And at 4:19am it completed downloading the update for the demo. So it worked.
Why in the hell do all of my disc games not seem to do this?
Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League
