Well, back then it MIGHT have been the best game, but every other game releasing the next gen, or last gen, or this gen, practically outshines it in almost all means possible. For example: Graphically talking Twilight princess was better. Story telling goes to the Uncharted Series or The Last of Us for instance. BUT in 15 years, even those masterpieces will look outdated compared to games, that are releasing then. So it's pretty much impossible to get 'the perfect' game. |
If we talk about time and how dated it can get, then it shouldn't matter much. Like Pokemon Red/Blue, it doesn't matter how old it gets, it's still one of the most enjoyable experiences I'll ever have. And grapihcs shouldn't change points to a game, but to a developer/console...
