They should have rather gave them KZ or Yukuza or Something that the Japanese love... First off, "shit game" is your opinion. Secondly, Knack doesn't appeal to Japanese people? It's a platformer, developed by Studio.....JAPAN. It's very Japanese.

It is a free game for their new systems, I would happily take a middle of the road game for free with any system on Day1, if someone buys the console with a game they really want this is just a lovely freebie to take a break from their game of choice and try something different, For free!.

Free extra year of cover for their new system and a cool enough game to enjoy no one there would be buying the system because of this extra offer it was included by Sony just as an apology that they had to await the Greatness just a little bit extra.
