make up your mind. first you mention KH 1.5 hd as if it had relevance, than it sudenly ddoesn't matter. bold: this isn't about making a game, it's about porting. bold2: what couple games? there were precisely 2. DQ X was a japan only MMO late port from wii and still did great. it's certainly profiting. the only other game was the supper late deus ex, wich was also rereleased for ps360 costing $30 vs $50. The wii u is noiceably weaker than xone as much as xone is noticeably weaker than ps4. a difference far smaller between ps360 and pcs (that didn't stop ps360 from running on mid the games pc ran on ultra). overal, it's jus a bunch of excuses everyone keeps making up. |
I'm not saying it's not relevant, KH 1.5 HD is one sign of many, if you want to you can exchange that for every other SE game that didn't release on the Wii U and that isn't going to release on the Wii U.
bold: Porting a game isn't free either and porting FFXV or KH3 to the Wii U would still most certainly be more expensive than making an HD version of an old PS2 game.
bold2: No the game did not sell great also don't act as if you know that the game is profitable on Wii U, cause you don't. The thing is this, SE has nothing announced for the Wii U, this strongly indicates that they're not happy with the performance of their previous efforts on the console, what the reasons for those poor results were is something I'm not gonna discuss here.
I'm not going to discuss this console power thing with you either, I've seen you dicuss it with other people and your opinion on this can't be changed anyway and you won't change my opinon on the matter either, so why bother? Simple fact is this, there is zero SE support on the horizon for the Wii U, so expecting Kingdom Hearts, which has never been on a Nintendo home console, and the next mainline Final Fantasy, which hasn't appeared on a Nintendo home console for almost 20 years now, to release on the Wii U is awefully optimistic.
