I'd really like it!
For the games that can't have both things, they could put a screen at the beginning of the game asking something like "What do you prefer?" and the 2 options.
It shouldn't be that hard and after all, devs already put screens at the beginning of the game telling us that X symbol means that the game is saving or asking us to move a slider left or right to make the game more or less darker.
Please excuse my bad English.
