ganoncrotch said: Oh yeah I know that Star Wars Kinect game in my opinion turned out to be the best end result for a Kinect game we could have gotten, when you see stuff like Rise of nightmares from Sega asking the player to hold one leg up for a 10+ hour game of walking forwards it is really clear that Kinect + ultra hardcore serious mode gaming just don't go hand in hand. Some of the songs are just.... Cringe mania but so brilliant for being so Tongue in cheek https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShT6hkyJlos - we no speak huttnese https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84YXPw4htnQ - that Vader Deadmau5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVWge95xJ3U - Blasterproof I mean the original trilogy of movies was a fantasticly serious set of adult movies in my opinion but this game goes very well with the direction the Hayden Christensen trilogy had to offer its fans. |
Awe, I enjoyed those songs. I like Blasterproof better than the one the pop singer (Reana?) does. And the Deadmau5 is tiring! It's good exercise.
I though you would include these:
Celebration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpbBiexLN9s
Empire Today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7bmXywWus8
But honestly, I have fun with them. Its ones like this that make me cringe:
Teach me how to Jerk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXnlJ3JVlQI
Teach me how to Dougie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-QfmY7LaUA
Like why would anyone ever put them in a game? How could anyone stand to hear them? I like to think I am open minded enough I can appreciate art and not enjoy it, but I don’t even understand why anyone would like them. Much less how a producer could OK them. Like John Cage's 4'33" is so much better. One I had to mute to get a high score.
In Contrast - these songs, which are auto tuned less, is clearly much, much better:
