If there's nothing you're interested in, that's your taste but to say nintendo dropped the ball because you don't like these games, makes no sense.

Here's the games I want this year

Kirby Triple Deluxe
Conception II
Lego The Hobbit
Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse
Super Smash Bros.
Disney Magical World
Sonic Boom

Then there's the rumored ones. I do think we'll be getting Puzzle and Dragons by the end of this year. Persona, Harvest moon and Theatrhythm Curtain Call could  make it over before the end of the year as well. I think this will be a big year for the 3DS eshop games. I think people are underestimating Disney Magical World. It's not just a "kids" game but a mix of Animal Crossing/Rune Factory (battling aspect)/Harvest Moon (Farming). From gameplay I've seen I like that there's a quest system so it doesn't get a repetitive as Animal Crossing was sometimes. I'm hoping they will advertise it a little more in March because it really does look like a good game.  And they have time to advertise it. They didn't really heavily promote Bravely Default until the Demo release in Jan.

After Luigi's Mansion, Pokemon and Zelda, I was expecting a somewhat slower year. It would be hard for any company to keep that momentum. More people have a 3DS than a Wii U so I think 3DS SSB will unfortunately topple the Wii U in sales rather than make people want to get a Wii U. I do agree that Nintendo needs to maybe focus on having a little more variety in the kind of games they offer on the 3DS since RPG's are dominating right now. And maybe it's just me but I still have plenty of games to play through and a backlog of games from last year that I still need to purchase, so I'm not going through a game drought at all.
