Nintendo has 5-6 great titles releasing on 3DS in the next six months and people keep complaining.

Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy - Feb 28
Yoshi's New Island - March 14
Pokemon Battle Trozei - March 20
Disney Magic World - April 11
Mario Golf World Tour - May 2nd
Kirby : Triple Deluxe - May 2nd

I must say that I'm excited for Mario Gold but I doubt you have a system in any of these games. Yoshi's New Island and Kirby being platformer's is more of what I already have from Nintendo.

The only new IP per say is Disney Magic World and I don't have high expectation for a game that's suppose to release in two months, we haven't heard anything about it.

The only games that can be "system-sellers" on 3DS at this point are more mature games and possibly better-quality indie games. Those are the main bases in terms of software aren't adaquately covered. I'm not sure why you're expecting multiple system-sellers for a system that has had generally good software support built up over almost 3 years.

As for Disney Magical World, I think you're underestimating the sheer number of kids that own a NIntendo 3DS and might buy this game. Promotion to the hardcore Nintendo fanbase arguably doesn't matter that much (and besides, we might hear more about it next month). 450K for a Disney-themed game in Japan alone is actually quite impressive when you consider how much less weight the name "Disney" carries. And don't forget that kids' games have good legs. I won't be surprised if this game legs out at 1M LT when it releases in all territories.

BTW: If Mario Golf follows the trend of most Mario spin-offs as of late, it will probably be very mediocre. I'm personally looking forward to KIrby.
