(Mario Kart DS took 40 seconds, and then no wait time afterwards with no other cartridges) And Sony's games division, minus hardware, likely is still making a tidy profit. If they do lose their hardware, which I presume they won't give up too easily since formats are also a nice cash cow, and I think they really really want blue ray to win. Sony games can still sell internationally, and the PS3 isn't dead yet. |
Sony makes most of their money licensing games for use on their systems. If they dont have the hardware they would lose all that license money as well.
I dont see them continuing their 1st party games, they would just sell the rights.
