Those might be the big ones, but still they have been "perfect" so far. The closest they've been to screwing up was making PS+ needed for online play, but even that worked out without a problem. Let's go point by point.
1. The PS4 has the order and deep down as its big 3rd party releases for the year. Microsoft has Titanfall and Sunset Overdrive. Really though this point shouldn't be about buying games, but just having games. Does it matter to a PS4 owner if Destiny is on XBOX or not? It'll affect console sales, but gamers are unaffected. I think I'd agree more with this point if it was about stopping Microsoft from obtaining 3rd party exclusives. Luckily for Sony the sales will do that on their own.
2. Why does this apply? Microsoft was just as artsy during the launch. Plus these ads work much better actually than just showing gameplay. Really only core gamers would prefer just gameplay, but those people can simply watch trailers.
3. lol

4. Do you have something against Taco Bell. Those ads were on nonstop for weeks before launch. Also both Sony and Microsoft advertise a lot in movie theaters.
5. They're much better at this today than they were last gen. Especially with indies they have content coming out every week. Looks good to me.
