Both Killzone and InFamous will surpass easily it's predecessors. I'm not saying the franchises grew, but launch titles usually sells a lot. Resistance: Fall of Man is way above it's 2 sucessors.

This. I have bought over half of the PS4 launch titles. A game like Killzone was purchase for me at launch be it offered something new and to be honest no a lot of other choices would not buy that if it were competing with a full slate of games.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
