No, and I never thought they would. But even I didn't think the drop-off in sales would be this steep.
We saw the PS2 handily outsell the PS3 for a while thanks to the the PS3's high price and the big Guitar Hero craze at the time which did big numbers on PS2. However, simply put, PS3 is no PS2.
And Sony will only be able to drop the PS3's price so much. At some point, the BOM will limit going any lower. I don't think we'll ever see a $129 PS3.
