Good job at ignoring everything else I wrote ;) You're implying that Christmas is the same in Japan as it is in NA and Europe. Don't kid yourself, it's not at all the same.

You're exagerrating greatly. Japan does have a holiday sales boost. It's much smaller than the US and Western Europe, but the boost is the last two weeks of December and the first half of January. It's good to boost older leggy software+a solid doubling of normal baseline.
