i actually loved the original vision of xbox one. Because of "whinning gamers" MS went back to safe routw which was just another more powerful xbox 360 much liek another more powerful ps3. Its gets boring afterawhile as you only get amchine that just do games with mroe pixels and abtetter resolution. Theres no innovation there to create a console with more power. At least MS did try something new ,, but whining gamers this gemnration are reluctant to change and don't want change. MS just released it to early. If whiny gamers didn't complain liek that Sony would have most likely followed MS route. Not all comsumer wanted the MS 180 as most of their policy was pretty good. I was looking foorward to a steam type on a console. Yea whiny gamers whuen about everything. I will give you example,,, they whiny about no battery indicator for xboxone. saying its must to kwno when battery dis lol. whiny gamers whined about difficulty of god of war ascension ,, thers sone part wher you hav e to do trials. It was cjhallenging hwiich made it fun. However whiny gamers whined soo much that a patch was releasee and made it ridiculously easy. Whuny gamers whine about teh abtteries thats required for xbox one controller, but in fact it the batteries required ofr the controller last 50 horus which si longer then 7 hours ofr the ps4 controller. Whiny gamers whien about LED light flashing whil eplaying a ps4. These are some unnecessary things gamers this gen and last gen complained about which is pointless. The olden days of jsut getting playign games and nto nit pickign for no reason are gone. Its good they did but sony needs to go out of their comfort zone and create something different for once. |
Wow then we must have watched two different videos...because if 3p people CLEARLY heard him say not and one didn't then something si wrong here. But if you say you didn't hear it no big deal it is what it is.
And Sony has been out ofhteir comfort zone for a while now, they have created more NEW IPs over the last generationt han either MS or NIN. They went out of their comfort zone with the "cell". Heck they seemed to be the ONLY company willing to try and make new IPs even if they failed. Even with their current finacial situation they have a new IP coming out in The Order 1886. So they are fine no need tow orry about them stepping out of their comfort zone. They are more worried about moving in the right direction as a company which is FAR more important while at teh same time pleasing gamers so they are off to a great start.
About everything else you mentioned it all just seems like personal opinion, consumers control the market and what goes on. So those "whiny gamers" are not alone. If it was just the "whiny gamers" then MS would not have did a 180 so it was clearly bigger than that. But that's another story but I understand you have different opinions and feelings. Nothing wrong with that.
