Hmmm, I buy a console for what I can play now. It doesn't do me any good to buy one that just sits there waiting for games to play. Between my 3DS, PC, PS3, Vita, Wii U and Xbox 360, I have a huge backlog of awesome games to play. When some of these systems releases slow down and the PS4 and Xbox One have more must have games, maybe then. It just doesn't make any sense to buy one now though. I've seen people sell their entire PS3/Xbox 360 collection with extra controllers and dozens of games just to buy one of the new systems with one game. Again, makes no sense to me at this point. |
The PS4 and Xbox One versions of games (vs the PS3 and 360) are vastly superior and I do not expect either to drop their price (significantly) anytime soon.
Though I did not sell my PS3 and do not sell used games (I do sell consoles occassionally to buy a newer one, sold my 80 GB PS3 to buy a slim, sold that slim to buy another slim. etc.)
