| ghettoglamour said: Cheers dude! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Like you, I already own a PS4 and I'm going to buy a Wii U some time this year. There are (or will be) just too many great titles from Nintendo that will make the purchase worth it. Anyway, I have two questions for you guys: 1. The Wii U Gamepad just seems to bulky and heavy for me to be playing like 4-5 hours with it, so the question is: Is the use of the gamepad in every game mandatory or can you ALWAYS choose to play with the traditional controller (the Pro Controller?) ? 2. Is it very likely that the Wii U will get a price cut this year? If yes, when does Nintendo traditionally do pricecuts? |
I'd say 90% of software can be used with something other than the Wii U pad (be it a Wii Remote or Pro Controller).
I'm pretty certain Wii U will be getting a price cut this year if only because I think XB1 is going to receive a significant price drop by the summer and Nintendo will probably have to adjust accordingly. £199 Pro Sku with Mario Kart wouldn't surprise me by the year's end, and I think sales will skyrocket as a result.
