I enjoyed the movie, but my first experience with PotO was with the Broadway soundtrack and the novel. I really enjoyed the soundtrack and used to listen to it when playing Mario Kart back in the day. The novel was also a great read.
I still haven't saw it on stage, but would really like to one day. A production of PotO was coming to our town years ago and I asked if my grandpa would want to come with me(he was about the only one in my family who would be into something like that). He said he'd go if I'd buy both tickets, so I passed.
"I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself."
