First day with Wii U impressions (Sony fan perspective)

HD Nintendo games and the controller. Also my desire to kinda relive childhood.

 

The DS3 lasts about 30 hours. The DS4 lasts about 9. I think its a decent trade off for the new features. I will get a pro controller soon and compare it to a DS4. But honestlyI cant imagine a pro controller being as good as a DS4. Guess I will see

Smash is definitely my most anticipated title. The day that releases is the day my "countdown to buying a Wii U" begins. :P I'll probably finally buy a 3DS on that day as well...

As for the Pro controlle, it has a kind of cheap feeling to me, what with its digital sudo-triggers and extremely light weight. I've never used a DS4, but if it's as solid as the 360's gamepad, I think you'll most definitely like it more than the Pro controller. Especially for shooters. That said, the Pro controller works great for everything I use it for, and I reeeaaaally like the stick/button layout.
