Thing is; a lot of Nintendo fans were still banking on this audience and thought that Wii Fit U would actually make a difference. Just goes to show how little people understand about the modern market.

This audience is long lost to home console though, and it was clear to see if only you wanted to (which is the key here).

Can't blame them. It's the only reason why the Wii sold more than PS3 and 360. Nintendo may have a very dedicated fan base but its no match for Sony and Microsoft who attract a lot of gamers with their wide range of Rated Teen and Mature games.

sure you can, he's not generalizing. He is saying that there was alot of Ninty fans who thought this might help WIi U, not ALL of them. Its evident on this site alone. Its no match for SOny or MS who are red ocean mostly. That is something that Ninty CANNOT compete with them in, at least not now. No blue ocean, kind of screwed.
