Due to having a tiny SIMD engine that will also result in the WII U's espresso having poor IPC. The integer performance is even poorer as well seeing as how the ALUs aren't extended by any SIMD instruction sets which means that it will be limited to only 3 32 bit integer operation per cycle. This makes the WII U a poor overall single threaded performer and an even more offensive one considering it's low clock speeds.

The OoO execution model isn't a saving grace for the WII U seeing as every other parts of ibm espresso are beyond terrible. Everything else about the ibm xenon and cell just runs over horrid espresso. 

Nintendo will hopefully learn a lessson not to use 10+ year old CPU designs ...

I swear its like people believe these consoles are powered my magical fairy dust, the Xbox1 could do everything the ps4 does, but at 720p, maybe 900p if the game is not pushing the hardware, while the wiiu still struggles after a 1 year to run 360/ps3 games, the specs are confirmed the xb1 gpu is 6x more powerful then WIIU gpu, the PS4 is like 8-9x. The xb1 has some real bottle knecks though, it's just poorly designed hardware.
